Quotes That Make Cents: Impossible? Done

Quotes That Make Cents is a running series of quotes we find particularly money-motivational. This quote is brought to you by the wise Nelson Mandela.

Feel free to pin, share, or print and slap on the fridge next to your expired Domino’s Pizza coupon.

It always seems impossible until it is done

This quote has helped us get through the last few days. With Baby Girl going through some growing pains, the already long nights seem even longer. But then the sun rises, and the impossible becomes possible again.

I’ll never start a budget.

We’ll never get out of debt.

There’s no way we’ll ever be able to train our cat to do backflips on command. (Ok, maybe that one is impossible… for now)

Is there anything in your life that seemed impossible until it was done? Because I sure hope I’m not alone in wondering how in the world I survived Finals Week every freaking semester in college.

I can tell you that right now it feels like it is impossible for our new baby boy to go to sleep, i’ll keep reminding myself of this picture while I sit here typing one handed and trying to get him to sleep.

Haha. I’m half laughing, half crying. I know your pain man. It’s bound to get better at some point, right??? Keep on keeping on.

Love that quote! While I don’t have a kid so I’m definitely not as tired as you all, but I know what you mean. I never thought I’d be at where I am today.

Baby-raising is certainly no prerequisite for feeling tired and beat. And knowing all the different side projects your hustling, there’s no doubt you’re probably running on fumes some days. But like you said, look where you’re at. Congrats to you.

Too many things to list. It’s crazy to see where I’m at today. Couldn’t have imagine it even just 2 years ago.

And yet we (and by we, I mean I) still continue to tell ourselves that we can’t do things. Silly humans.

I just posted this in my cubicle. I’m a tax accountant and I feel like this ALL THE TIME.

Awesome, Erin! I’m pretty sure Nelson Mandela had tax accountants in mind when he wrote/said this. :)

Definitely feeling like this with getting my husbands business going, but it feels a bit closer these days. The first major hurdle was buying a house which we just did in November. Now to fix up the shop.

Congrats on the house! And here’s to hoping “done” happens on the getting the business up, too.
