Our Freaking Budget Weekly Wrap-Up

And so begins the three day stretch where everyone and their grandmother says, “I guess I’ll see you in a year” or “This is the last time I’ll chug a Yoo-hoo this year.” So in true bandwagon fashion, this is the last Weekly Wrap-Up you’ll read from us this year.

On the baby front, we’re still playing the waiting game. And while I probably shouldn’t admit this, I’ve been having heart-to-hearts with our girl via Joanna’s rotund belly. I’ve told her that should she choose to be born in 2012 and help bring down our taxes, I will gladly take some of the savings and put it toward awesome Christmas gifts for her next year. We’ll know the outcome of the negotiations by Tuesday.

Low Mein instead of Pork Fried Rice – $2 – We never substitute food when it costs extra, but some strange Chinese takeout force sucked us in.

OK I’ll keep my fingers crossed she will hold off till the new year! See you in 2013…I’m just kidding I’ll probably be back Monday or so. 🙂

Ha! If you do a post on Monday, you can totally expect a “See you in 2013!” comment from me now! 😉

Thanks for mentioning us! Hey, that baby will be here sooooooooooooon. Do you have a name picked out yet? Are people’s stupid questions starting to make you crazy? Here are some of my favorites:

“Hey, haven’t you had that baby yet?”
“Hey, aren’t you like 20 months pregnant by now?”
“I hope your delivery isn’t miserable like mine was.”

Haha, that third comment is the one that really gets to me. Until this baby is out, I refuse to listen to anyone with negative comments!

And we’ve narrowed it to 4 names, miraculously (we’ve disagreed a lot in this department). I think we’ll have to meet her before we know which is THE ONE 🙂

It isn’t that bad and it is soooooooo worth it. If it was that bad, women wouldn’t do it over and over and over, right? It will be over before you know it and you will be holding your new baby in your arms without a care in the world.

I’m really looking forward to becoming acquainted with her products… if this darn baby would just come out already!

Air five for good taste in music! Now I’ve just got to find a chance to see them live.
