Happy Second Birthday + a Giveaway!

Today little miss Sally is two! Because she’s such a big girl, I think I’ve been thinking of her as a two-year-old for months now, but today is the day! We’ve been training her for a few weeks so that now when we ask her age she says, “I two!” I can’t believe how much babies change in just a year. Here’s a fun little comparison of her a year ago vs now:

Sally One and Sally Two

Today we plan to do all things Sally-centered. We’ll be going to the park, eating pizza, riding her “bike” (scooter), and singing the “snowman song,” which is actually “Do You Want to Build a Snowman?” from Frozen. The only thing she’s requested that we can’t do is go look at Christmas trees. This past year our girl learned and changed so much. We can’t wait to see what this new year brings… hopefully nothing with the words “twos” and “terrible” in the same sentence!

As we did last year, we wanted to celebrate her big day by doing a giveaway with Freshly Picked moccasins! Sally wore her first pair for six months straight, and I expect she’ll do the same with her current pair. We love that they’re a Utah business that handcrafts each and every pair right in our (previous) own backyard. And they’re durable enough that baby #2 will get some use out of ’em, too!

We’re very excited one of you guys will get a pair for one of your little ones! For a chance to win, please enter below. The giveaway is for US residents only, and it closes Sunday at midnight ET. And if you’re the lucky winner, you’ll get to choose whatever size and color suits your (baby’s) fancy!

Happy Birthday to Sally! I cannot believe she is already 2! I think I started following your blog around the time she was born. Two is such a fun age and I won’t lie it’s a tiring age too! She’s so cute in those moccasins! I have been wanting a pair for my daughters but shoe $ is not high on priority list after a good pair of fitting sneakers. Thankfully the grandparents occasionally want to see the oldest in cute shoes and buy her some more trendy shoes:)

I can’t believe how the time has flown since she was born! Oh man, the past month has been so exhausting with Sally already! I hope she’s hitting the terrible twos early and that we don’t have an entire year of this ahead of us!

I love grandparents for that very reason… their gifts to Sal are the best!

    Happy birthday Sally!
It’s my partner’s birthday today too, so I’m spending the morning making scocheroo and cupcakes.
If only you lived in VA, you could bring Sal over to admire our tree and lights—-since they didn’t make their appearance until December 20th, they will be staying up until the end of January. 🙂

How fun! Oh man, Sally would love your house. She has been very disappointed that Christmas is over. Way to enjoy the holidays a little longer!

Happy Birthday to Sally! May all of your pizza-eating, bike-riding, snowman-singing dreams come true! Enjoy your special day little one! =)

It was a good day, one that ended in her face and hands totally covered in chocolate cake! Any day that ends like that is a success in my book.

Sally had many people sing her “Happy Birthday” yesterday. She loved it! And by the end of the night, she was requesting we sing it to her more and more! It was a great day.

Happy Birthday, Sally! Thanks for the great giveaway! Also, thank you for making it so easy to enter. Giveaways with 50+ entries to do are frustrating. Thanks for keeping it simple. 🙂

Happy birthday Sally! What a cutie! Too bad there are no more Christmas trees to look at, that’s so sweet though 🙂

She’s still requesting we sing “Jingle Bells” almost every night before bedtime! She really loved Christmas this year, which was so fun…. but hopefully the requests for Christmas songs doesn’t last too much longer!

Happy Birthday to Sally!! Those moccasins are FIERCE!! I think it’s hilarious that she doesn’t want to look at Christmas trees.
