She’s Here!!!
Our freaking baby girl is finally here!!! Pictures will be forthcoming. Probably after her head shape looks less like a pinecone. But for now, you can just use your imagination and mash those two little twerps together. That’s probably what she looks like.
Joanna is doing great, baby is doing great, and Johnny is doing damage at the vending machines. And also speaking in third person.
We’ll be on blog-ternity leave for a few days. Chat soon!

I apologize I’m just now getting around to replying to this pressing question. And I was secretly hoping that someone would notice my hand placement.
The only possible explanation is that I probably just stole that can of Diet Pepsi and knew I had pulled off the ultimate heist. So when someone said, “Johnny, say cheese!” I gave my best “that’s what’s up” pose. And that’s that. That or the more likely explanation that I was awkward and didn’t know where to put my hand when people took pictures of me. I still don’t.

Congratulations you guys on a freaking great delivery – on time, on budget !!!
Look forward now to mucho sleepless nights (we’ve been there, done that).
Anyway, we eventually followed orders and all turned out fine.
From our past experience, with our first baby, we would be at her bedside every time she so much as made a whimper – 7/24 ! We both were becoming quickly exhausted. Our pediatrician said that we were crazy (though not in those exact words – lol) and to just let the little one cry herself to sleep, assuming of course that she wasn’t hungry and/or needed a “pitstop” change
When our 2nd baby was born, we handled things much differently. The little guy would complain at first but usually he slept like a log most nights !
